About Pet World Plan
Pet World Plan is an independent website about dog behaviour — what dogs are communicating, why ordinary dogs do inconvenient things, and what the published guidance actually supports. It exists because a great deal of what owners are told about dogs is folklore repeated with confidence.
What this site covers
Three areas: reading canine body language, understanding normal behaviours that get labelled as faults (digging, chewing, barking), and the sensory world a dog actually lives in. We do not cover veterinary medicine, feeding plans or product reviews.
Who writes here
Articles are written and edited in-house by the Pet World Plan editorial team. We are not veterinarians, and every article says so. What we do is read the published guidance of recognised welfare and veterinary-behaviour organisations and put it into language an owner can use on a Tuesday evening.
How we handle accuracy
Each article names the organisations whose published guidance informed it. Where the evidence is genuinely contested, we say so instead of picking a side. If you find something wrong, tell us — our editorial policy sets out how corrections are handled and how fast.
Languages
Everything here is published in English, Portuguese and Spanish. English is the original; the other two are complete translations, not summaries.
